▌創作理念 Artist Statement
謝宜庭的作品中時常出現的黑色人形，是另一個自我的化身。那是成為母親的她，從養育孩子疲憊卻又同時滿足的身心，所長出來的自我。那些平凡的日常生活，成為了她的靈感來源。像是…孩子床邊的絨毛玩偶總是動物造形;執行儀式般的每日必讀睡前故事;假日午後的固定行程:看著孩子們在滑梯上上下下。她試圖創造一個個甜美夢幻的當下，讓作品成為一個入口，帶觀者回到某種，接近童年的狀態。

The recurring black figure in Hsieh Yi-Ting’s paintings serves as an alter ego—a self that emerged through the experience of motherhood. Born from the physical exhaustion and emotional fulfillment of raising children, this figure embodies the artist’s inner world and quiet reflections on everyday life.

Ordinary moments become the source of her imagination: stuffed animals gathered beside a child’s bed, the nightly ritual of reading bedtime stories, and afternoons spent watching children climb and slide through playgrounds. These seemingly simple scenes are transformed into dreamlike landscapes that evoke tenderness, memory, and wonder.

Through her paintings, Hsieh creates poetic portals into imagined worlds, inviting viewers to return to a state of innocence and curiosity, reconnecting with the emotional landscape of childhood.
