▌創作自述 Artist Statement
藝術家東條明子的木雕作品是以孩童、女性和動物的形象來表達敏感的心。富有細膩微妙的心理情感和柔軟溫暖的感覺。此外，藝術家在仔細追逐一個人的姿態時，珍惜自我雕塑創作的氣氛和表達。

Akiko Tojo’s wood sculptures depict children, women, and animals as vessels for expressing the sensitivity and emotional depth of the human heart. Her works convey subtle psychological nuances through a quiet warmth and gentle presence, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and contemplative.

In her practice, Tojo carefully observes and captures the gestures and postures of her subjects, placing great importance on the mood and emotional resonance embodied in each sculpture. Through the warmth of wood and her refined craftsmanship, she creates works that evoke empathy, tranquility, and a profound sense of life.
