“ Days of Sunlight ” – Yi-Jie CHEN Solo Exhibition by Opens Grandly

Under the early summer light “ Days of Sunlight ”— Yi-Jie CHEN Solo Exhibition — opened with great acclaim. On the day of the opening, the weather was clear and sunny, with sunlight gently illuminating the space between the artworks and the audience, shaping a warm and profound exchange.

A total of 18 sculptures are showcased in this exhibition, with the artist herself offering guided tours and sharing in detail the context and emotional shifts behind each piece. She remarked, “I believe that light attracts light — and also leads to more positive thoughts.”

Though the creative journey was not without its struggles and inner conflicts, it was precisely through this process that art became a medium for self-healing and acceptance. As we look back on these works, it becomes clear that those once-unnameable emotions have quietly become part of our daily lives, crystallizing over time into the very texture of light.
